It may seem unusual that H&H Service Advantage would be the host for a preschool field trip, but, that is the subject of today’s update.

We recently were called by one of our clients and asked if we could host a field trip for the day care. What pray-tell would we show and tell small preschool children? Of course this was on the tip of everyone’s tongue, yep, just the place. So, after a long 5-second think session we thought it would be a good time to start these little minds thinking about transportation safety and one of our favorite topics, “What does a clean-green shop look like?”

When the children and their chaperones arrived we began the safety discussion with a quick talk about personal safety and foam E.A.R.™ were demonstrated and each child issued their very own – pretty cute. The kids or the E.A.R.™ plugs?

Of course you can remember playing in and among the tires, what child doesn’t remember that? We looked at a safe tire and then one that is not safe, even though it has a lot of tread on it. That tire came off of a day-care bus just a week ago so the children on that bus are riding on new and safe tires.

A bright and sunny day reminds all of us that we have a responsibility to take care of the air, the water and the land. There is nothing like a group of small children to remind us of our responsibility to take good care of the environment and be clean-green.

There were lots of good questions, but I declined the offer to start a kid’s reality show called “Kids say the … “!
